Beginner Meditation & Guided Meditation
This is an introduction to meditation, begins with basic guided meditations and then moves into showing the student how to create their own daily meditation practice. We will remove the intimidating myths about meditating so that it is smooth and practical and a tool that the student can utilize and build on throughout their lives.
Beginner - Intermediate Yoga
This class will introduce students to the benefits of yoga and moving their bodies. This class will entail stretching and strengthening giving the students a good, end cap to their day of studies. Different types of Yoga Asana practices will be explored from Vinyasa and Yin Yoga to Restorative Yoga.
Creative Visualization & Intention Setting
This class will dive into setting an intention and goals for life, big or small, and then taking steps to accomplish those intentions. Students will learn how the brain works while they mentally plan their futures and how small steps after visualization can help them manifest their intentions into realities.
Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra can also be called “yogic sleep“. It is a practice of full relaxation, where the student lies on the floor and is guided through a series of mental cues for total relaxation. When the student reaches the state between wakefulness and sleep the brain enters a state of delta or theta brain waves. This relaxed state is the perfect time for learning, calming, and visualizing. It is said that a half hour of Yoga Nidra is equal to two hours of deep sleep.
Beginner Breathwork (Pranayama)
Learn how to utilize your own breath in order to experience a calming of the body and mind. This breathwork class will teach students various breathing techniques that will help with studying, retention, calming as well as activating the body and mind.
